Having followed the weight loss and fitness industry for quite some time, I have realized that most people are familiar with what I consider the conventional aspects of the industry. Majority of us do know the positive effects of avoiding or reducing foods that have a very high calorie count and high level of saturated fats as most junk foods do. We also know how getting into a fitness routine can reduce visceral fat. A lot less people however are familiar with the powerful effect of fat burning diets. That’s right: instead of avoiding or reducing your intake of certain foods, there are a good number of fat burning diets that work in various ways to actively reduce visceral fat.
First on the plate? Spices! And you do not need to go far to see the fat burning capability of spices and their ability to lower the prevalence of weight problems. For centuries, several cultures around the world including those in the Far East and India, have had a high proportion of such spices as Cajun, chili, black pepper, white pepper, cinnamon and Cayenne pepper, in their meals. Health scientists have since proven that these spices rev up the body’s metabolic processes by up to 50% leading to the burning of body fat.
Another winning component in fat burning diets is protein. This is because protein foods normally require a lot more body energy during digestion and nutrient assimilation. This process places a demand on the body’s energy resources thus breaking down visceral fat. However, not all types of protein should be included in fat burning diets. Instead, go for protein foods that have a low fat sub component. On this score, I would recommend going for lean meat.
